I graduated from the BYU Media Arts program in December of 2022, and have since been working as a freelance producer and director. I have worked with companies like Heck Video and BYU Mobile, but my bread and butter is low-budget indie projects. I find that budget constraints push you to solve problems creatively, and consider more carefully the message you are trying to put out into the world. I am currently working on producing my first feature-length film, which will be making the festival rounds in 2026. 

 

For me, filmmaking is about collaboration in ideas, beauty in the every day, and shaping our world through exploring the themes and concepts that connect us as human beings. Storytelling is about linking all of us to the bigger picture expanding and developing our worldview.

I live in Utah and enjoy spending my time hiking with my dog, trying new restaurants with my husband, and, of course, watching movies. I have played the cello since I was 8 and love music. My book collection is always expanding, and my goal this year is to read 50 new books.
